I have been where you are as a school leader.
Aimee Presnall. Founder of Well-Nest. Former teacher and school leader. TEDx speaker. Coach, facilitator, and keynote speaker for the people shaping schools today.
I founded Well-Nest because I was sick of watching exceptional school leaders run themselves into the ground. After sixteen-plus years in classrooms and leadership roles across Australia and internationally, I had seen enough. Brilliant leaders burning out. The same tired advice about self-care and resilience while the system kept demanding more. Leaders who could transform a school community but could not make it to Friday without collapsing.
So I did something about it.
I spent those sixteen-plus years inside the work. I taught the hard classes, sat in the hard meetings, and held the hard conversations nobody trained me for. I watched exceptional school leaders struggle, not because they were not capable, but because the system never gave them what they actually needed. The skills to lead people well. The space to think clearly enough to do it.
So I built both.
The practice I wishedhad existed when I was in the work.
Well-Nest is an executive leadership practice for Principals and the school leadership teams they lead. A confidential, judgement-free space to find clarity, create the conditions their teams need, and build the cultures they actually want to lead.
Not wellbeing coaching. Not generic leadership training. Executive leadership development, built for the real shape of a school leader's week.
Well-Nest works with educational leaders and associations to dismantle the conditions that create burnout in the first place, building capacity and team cultures where leadership is sustainable, not sacrificial. Through coaching, workshops, retreats, and the podcast Reflections of School Leaders, my approach is honest about what is broken and fiercely practical about fixing it.
Leaders who are well, lead well. When leaders lead well, everyone in the school feels it.
What sits behindevery conversation.

Who Well-Nest works withand how.
Well-Nest works with Principals, school leadership teams, and the associations that support them, across Australia and internationally. The work runs through four formats.
One-to-one executive coaching
For Principals who want a regular, confidential thinking space with someone in the work alongside them.
Leadership retreats
For executive teams that need time away from the operational churn to land the conversations they have been circling.
Workshops
For leadership groups and associations going deep on a specific capability.
Keynote speaking
At the conferences where school leaders gather.
Whichever format, the spine of the work is the same. We build clarity, create the conditions teams need to thrive, and help leaders shape the culture their whole school community walks into.
If you are recognising yourself in any of it,that is the first sign it might be time.
That is the first sign it might be time to make space for the work.
